Afternoon with the queen and a step back in time!

The night before our last full day in London we tried to work the washer/ what we think to be a dryer... not so much luck. It washed the clothes but took hours and we never could figure out if it was a dryer as well or if we were just imagining things.

On our last full day in London we ran out of the majority of our breakfast food so we ended up eating peaches and yogurt... mounds of it.

Instead of staying in London on our last day we headed to Windsor and then Oxford! It was beautiful! The castle was unbelievable and the wealth and beauty of everything from the furniture to the paintings to the rooms themselves left me speechless. It was a perfect afternoon as well and allowed for some great pictures!

After Windsor we headed to Oxford. By the time we got there it was around five and everything was beginning to close up. The city itself was beautiful and we had a blast just walking around town looking at the buildings.

We left London on the July 1st and it was kind of sad leaving our short term home. This is a church that was at the beginning of our street. The place we stayed was on the outskirts of London but was a great neighborhood!

On our long underground ride to the rail station we enjoyed a nice conversation with a bunch of London locals who filled us in on the local sentiment of the upcoming games. Let’s just say they are not happy... stabbings and strikes and delayed trains...

While we waited for our train to Bath at Paddington Station we enjoyed some delicious Pasties!

This is our B&B in bath! Such a cute home and just a short walk from the town center!!! Right now we are enjoying evening tea in our room as we rest up to get ready for the next day.

Shortly after we arrived in Bath we enjoyed coffee and cake while taking in the sights of Bath abbey and the Pump Room.

Bath Abbey was beautiful on the inside and out! I could stare at the stain glass windows and gaze at the ceiling forever.
Went to the Roman Baths...
And tasted the water...Not so good.

Afterward we enjoyed a nice dinner of soup and lamb pie at a little pub in town.
